I really respect the Jerusalem Bible (JB) translation for many reasons. (side note: I have read the New Jerusalem Bible and in my humble opinion the original JB is far superior for many reasons).
I regularly also read the King James, NASB, and Amplified Bibles, for verse-by-verse comparison and study; but without a doubt find the JB a both /5(13).
